Hubungan Faktor Perilaku dan Durasi Tidur dengan Stunting pada Remaja Awal di Kabupaten Klaten

Abstract

Latar belakang: Stunting masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat di negara berkembang termasuk Indonesia. Dampaknya dapat berlanjut hingga masa remaja dan memengaruhi pertumbuhan fisik serta perkembangan psikososial. Masa remaja merupakan periode penting untuk pencegahan stunting karena faktor perilaku dan gaya hidup mulai terbentuk. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian stunting pada remaja awal di Kabupaten Klaten, Metode: Penelitian menggunakan desain cross-sectional dengan melibatkan 47 remaja usia 11–13 tahun yang dipilih melalui teknik stratified random sampling. Variabel yang diteliti meliputi pengetahuan, sikap, perilaku gizi, status ekonomi dan durasi tidur. Status gizi ditentukan berdasarkan indeks tinggi badan menurut umur (TB/U) menggunakan standar WHO. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-square, Kruskal–Wallis, dan regresi logistik biner. Hasil: Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa durasi tidur berhubungan signifikan dengan status gizi pada analisis bivariat (p<0,05). Namun pada analisis multivariat tidak ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan antara seluruh variabel independen dengan status gizi (p>0,05). Durasi tidur tidak adekuat menunjukkan kecenderungan meningkatkan risiko stunting (OR = 3,11; 95% CI: 0,46–21,01) meskipun tidak signifikan secara statistik. Kesimpulan: Durasi tidur berpotensi berperan terhadap status gizi remaja awal namun belum terbukti sebagai faktor determinan yang signifikan setelah dikontrol variabel lain. Penelitian dengan jumlah sampel lebih besar diperlukan untuk memperkuat temuan ini.
