About the Journal

Gaster is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal in health sciences published by P3M Universitas ’Aisyiyah Surakarta. First published in 2007, the journal is issued biannually in February and August.

The journal provides a scholarly platform for the dissemination of original research, review articles, and other academic contributions that support the advancement of health knowledge, education, and professional practice. Gaster welcomes contributions from researchers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers.

The journal covers a broad range of topics in health sciences, including nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, pharmacy, community nutrition, and public health. All manuscripts submitted to Gaster undergo editorial screening and peer review before publication.
