Abstract

Latar Belakang: Cererbral Palsy merupakan gangguan neuromotor yang mempengaruhi perkembangan gerakan, tonus otot dan postur pada anak, Penyebab Cerebral Palsy (CP) yaitu abnormalitas neurologi yang menyebabkan terjadinya epilepsi. Cerebral Palsy spastis merupakan jenis CP dengan karakteristik hipertonus, dimana saat otot digerakkan secara pasif atau berlebihan akan mengakibatkan gerakan terhalang, oleh karena itu CP dapat menyebabkan postur abnormal. Metode penelitian ini adalah Case Report  yang dilakukan pada seorang pasien Cerebral Palsy Spastic di klinik School and Therapy Talitakum Semarang. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Neuromuscular Taping terhadap peningkatan postural control saat berjalan. Metode studi: metode digunakan  adalah case report (studi kasus) yang dilakukan pada seorang pasien Cerebral Palsy di School and Therapy Talitakum Semarang pada bulan Juli 2024. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa intervensi fisioterapi yang dilakukan selama 2x pertemuan menunjukkan hasil akhir berupa peningkatan kecepatan berjalan dan perbaikan postural control pasien dikarenakan adanya perbaikan pada struktur jaringan lunak dan pola motorik pernafasan.
