Abstract

Latar Belakang: Komunikasi SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) merupakan metode komunikasi terstruktur yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan keselamatan pasien dan kualitas handover klinis. Namun, efektivitas implementasinya dipengaruhi oleh faktor individual, termasuk self-efficacy perawat. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara self-efficacy dengan efektivitas komunikasi SBAR pada perawat di rumah sakit swasta di Tangerang. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel terdiri dari perawat pelaksana yang dipilih menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling sejumlah 126 responden. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner self-efficacy dan instrumen efektivitas komunikasi SBAR. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara self-efficacy dengan efektivitas komunikasi SBAR (p < 0,05; OR 10,167). Perawat dengan tingkat self-efficacy yang lebih tinggi cenderung menunjukkan kepatuhan yang lebih baik terhadap komunikasi SBAR. Kesimpulan: Self-efficacy berperan penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas komunikasi SBAR. Penguatan self-efficacy melalui pelatihan dan simulasi komunikasi klinis direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas handover dan keselamatan pasien.
