PENATALAKSANAAN FISIOTERAPI PADA KASUS MEDIAL MENISCUS TEAR DEXTRA DI KLINIK SPORT LIFE INJURY : A CASE REPORT

Meniscus tear adalah salah satu cedera lutut terkait olahraga yang paling umum dilaporkan pada populasi remaja maupun dewasa yang terjadi dalam keadaan trauma akut selama olahraga seperti contohnya gerakan lutut memutar secara paksa atau berhenti dan berbelok secara tiba-tiba. Indikasi robekan meniskus adalah nyeri tekan pada garis sendi, keterbatan ROM, rasa clicking dan ketidakstabilan sendi lutut. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat pengaruh pemberian intervensi fisioterapi berupa Cryotherapy, Ultrasound, TENS, dan Terapi Latihan dalam mengurangi eodema, menurunkan derajat nyeri, meningkatkan kekuatan otot, meningkatkan LGS lutut, meningkatkan keseimbangan dan meningkatkan aktifitas fungsional serta meningkatkan fisiologis pada lutut dengan cedera medial meniskus. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus yang meneliti 1 responden secara langsung dengan kondisi medial meniscus tear dextra yang diberikan intervensi sebanyak 6 kali. Setelah 6 kali intervensi, didapatkan adanya penurunan eodema, penurunan derajat nyeri, peningkatan LGS lutut, peningkatan kekuatan dan keseimbangan, peningkatan fisiologis pada lutut, dan peningkatan aktifitas dan fungsional. Kesimpulannya adalah intervensi fisioterapi konvensional dapat menurunkan eodema, menurunkan derajat nyeri, meningkatkan LGS lutut, meningkatkan kekuatan dan keseimbangan, meningkatkan fisiologis pada lutut, dan meningkatkan aktifitas dan fungsional pada pasien dengan medial meniscus tear dextra.
