Abstract

Latar belakang: Mastektomi sering menyebabkan keterbatasan mobilitas lengan dan bahu, yang berisiko menimbulkan nyeri, fibrosis, dan disfungsi bahu pada pasien kanker payudara. Early exercise pascaoperasi direkomendasikan untuk mempercepat pemulihan rentang gerak dan mencegah komplikasi muskuloskeletal. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas early exercise terhadap peningkatan range of motion bahu dan pencegahan disfungsi bahu pada pasien pasca modified radical mastectomy (MRM). Metode: Systematic review dilakukan dengan penelusuran literatur pada database PubMed, ScienceDirect, dan Semantic Scholar dengan pedoman PRISMA menggunakan kata kunci “early exercise in breast cancer or mastectomy for range of motion”. Kriteria inklusi meliputi studi randomized controlled trial berbahasa Inggris yang diterbitkan tahun 2021–2026, responden dewasa >18 tahun menjalani MRM primer tanpa rekonstruksi, tanpa gangguan mental dan gangguan berjalan.  Hasil: Tujuh studi menunjukkan bahwa early exercise yang terstruktur dan aman dapat meningkatkan kekuatan sendi, memperbaiki fungsi bahu, dan mengurangi atrofi otot. Intervensi ini efektif mencegah kekakuan, mengurangi nyeri, dan mempercepat pemulihan fungsional bahu pascaoperasi. Kesimpulan: Early exercise merupakan intervensi sederhana, aman, dan terbukti bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan range of motion serta mencegah disfungsi bahu pada pasien pasca MRM. Hasil ini dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam protokol discharge planning untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien kanker payudara pascaoperasi.
