Physio Journal is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by P3M Universitas ‘Aisyiyah Surakarta. The journal was first published in 2021 and serves as a scholarly platform for the dissemination of high-quality research, applied studies, and scientific innovation in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation sciences.

Physio Journal is committed to advancing evidence-based physiotherapy practice, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration through the publication of rigorous and relevant scholarly work. The journal welcomes contributions from researchers, clinicians, educators, and health professionals whose work contributes to the improvement of functional health outcomes, rehabilitation services, and quality of life across the lifespan.

The journal publishes articles that offer scientific, clinical, educational, and community-based perspectives in physiotherapy and related rehabilitation disciplines. To strengthen academic quality and international visibility, Physio Journal prioritizes manuscripts with clear novelty, sound methodology, ethical integrity, and meaningful implications for physiotherapy practice, research, education, and policy.

Physio Journal is published biannually, in March and September. All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process and are evaluated based on originality, scientific merit, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal’s aims and scope.

The journal welcomes contributions from both national and international authors and encourages interdisciplinary and collaborative research that supports the development of physiotherapy and rehabilitation sciences in local, regional, and global contexts.

Physio Journal would like to inform you that several updates have been made to the journal’s editorial policies, particularly regarding the manuscript template, title page format, and submission guidelines.
